School reopens on 2 September 2008 and I am now in Year 2...new class with new friends. During snack and lunch, I often sit with my ex-classmates from 1K. I still love school...it would have been better if I could be in the same class as some of my old friends. Looking forward to the activities in store for me...such as Mufti Day...wow...I loved last year's Mufti Day.

Ice Skating

I went ice skating for the very first time with some of my classmates...or rather ex-classmates. Apprehensive at first, but soon I got the hang of it...thanks to my sweet and sporting Mummy who skated along and she could ice-skate! She held my hands most of the time and we skated together...but I did go on my own towards the end...holding on to the side of the ice rink. Below is a photo of me and Adelia posing outside the rink...cool, huh?

Kellyn told Mummy to bring her ice skating too...she said she wanted to skate cos that day she was only watching. I think she is a little too young to ice skate but she did enjoy herself that day...she knows the names of all my friends (having attended all my friends' birthday parties together with me) and was happily chatting away with some of them.

Little Ivan is more than 7 months old now. He has started solids and is eating very well. He is big for his age, wearing clothes for babies above 1 year old. He loves going around in his walker.He loves all things boys.

Melaka Trip

During my summer break, we also went for a vacation to Melaka. We stayed at Holiday Inn and the entourage comprised of Mum, Dad, Kellyn, Ivan and myself, Yeye, Nana, Pak Pak, Leong Leong, Joshua and Joseph, Jeng Ku's family and Tai Gong and Tai Po , Tai Gu Po and Len Gu Po. We had the chance to go up Melaka Tower to see the beautiful night scenery of Melaka and we also sat on trishaws. We had a swim at the hotel too. For the rest of them, the highlight of the trip were the great food they got to eat as Pak Pak's friend brought us to some famous restaurants...however, I didn't get to enjoy the food much because of my allergy. Photos are in dad's camera...stay tuned...will get Dad to upload. I told Mum I want to go Melaka again.

Penang Trip

One of the highlights of my summer holidays was the Penang Trip. Oh...we had so much fun at the beach, going for horse rides, playing at Adventure Zone, doing art and craft and even T-shirt painting. We stayed at Shangrila's Golden Sands Resort. I made Mummy promised to bring us back there again. There are a lot of photos...will upload soon.

PlayClub Red Week

During my school holidays, I attended Kellyn's Playclub at Julia Gabriel. And so it was red week, so we wore red. Teachers and Mummies wore red too. Mummy was in red too, just that she didn't do the Karen Cheng, so no photo of herself...hee..hee.. Oh, the food was all in red too...forgot the photos...Mummy says she will do better the next colour week...

Green Week @ Playclub

Kellyn had Green Week at Playclub last week. The children had to come in green colour and bring "green" food.Actually, I went along because I was having school holidays and Melissa, Kelly's teacher used to teach me Music and Movement when I was in K1 @ Chiltern House.It was great fun...I love Playclubs...I even chose to attend Kellyn's Playclub over an outing with my classmates. Mommy did snap a photo of me in "green" but it didn't turn out quite right and we were running late.

Swimming Lessons

Mommy has arranged for a swimming instructor to come and give me swimming lessons at home. ( also in the class are Yeye, Nana, Joshua and Kellyn : but they are not consistent- some days they don't swim). Due to my diligence and enthusiasm ( I LOVE TO SWIM), I have progressed well- from being afraid to get my head wet to almost being able to swim breast stroke). I will be having swimming lessons in school soon and I will not be afraid! Thanks...Mommy! ( I can now have my hair shampooed while standing up).

Tea Party with Barbie Dolls

I have in total 10 Barbie Dolls but hardly play with them and Mummy is not too pleased because I still ask for new Barbie Dolls. So, I decided to take them all out to play and have a tea party. Mummy was nice to join us at the tea party as well. Look at the food carefully, there are some real food, square biscuits for Mummy and me. Guess where is Kellyn...she was sleeping...otherwise she will be disturbing and we won't be able to have a tea party.

Kellyn has been saying she wants to go to school. Finally, she is being enrolled in Playclub at Julia Gabriel. She loves it and Mummy managed to take these 2 shots of her. It was Purple week and she was dressed in purple.She is quite smart, she is able to tell what she does at school.She will come home, open her playclub file, take out any books and say she wants to do homework! (those are not homework books...they are for the parents, books like song book, syllabus etc).

Ai Lin, my long time friend, my classmate in my very first class in Pre-S Kizsports & Gym celebrated her 7th birthday recently. Although they did not invite a lot of people, I enjoyed myself. I love going to Ai Lin's house. Nice house, lots of toys to play with and on her birthday, there are a lot of yummy food and gifts for the guests...the tiara, the wand are part of the gifts. There is an 18 inch helium balloon for us and my party pack is especially huge...

New Year's Eve @ IOI Marriott

We spent our New Year's Eve at IOI Marriott for walk-and-eat buffet @ 3 different restaurants, followed by a one night stay at the hotel. "We" as in Great Grandparents, Grand Uncles and Grand Aunties, Cousins and our own family...Yeye, Nana, Pak Pak, Leong Leong, Josh, Mom, Dad, Kellyn...all in all, I think there are at least 30 of us...It was fun...Mom,Dad, Kellyn and I did our "countdown" in the room...we opened our party packs and prayed...it was 11pm..ha...ha...then we slept.

Mommy and Daddy brought us shopping at Pavillion...the new mall in KL...the place is beautiful..I love the place! We missed taking pictures and shaking hands with Santa Claus because it was time for Santa Claus to rest...Kellyn burst out crying because she wanted Santa Claus. We made Mom and Dad promised to bring us back there. BTW, notice my polka-dotted white and red dress and hair band...I am in the Christmas mood...so i wore Christmas colours. The theme was white X'mas at Pavillion...all the X'mas tress were white...simply awesome.

Flower Girl

I was the flower girl for "Gu Che" Karen's wedding on 8 December while Joshua was the page boy. This is my 3rd time being a flower girl and everyone said I did very well. The first time I was a flower girl was for Auntie Iris' wedding and I was 2 plus years old then...I didn't really walk down the aisle..or rather I did with my Mommy sort of beside me. Last year, when I was 4, I also had the honor to be the flower girl for Auntie Vina's wedding in which I did walk down the aisle.I love being a flower girl!

I attended Rachel and Adelia's 6th Birthday Party at KL Bird Park on 25 November. Rachel is my classmate, while Adelia, her twin sister is in another class.They are my good friends in school.It was really fun...there was a tour to the park as well as birdshow as part of the b'day package. 23 November was GIS Mufti Day...which was a fundraising day by the school's prefects...no lessons on the day, just play and fun. I had a GREAT time...couldn't have been better...Mommy allowed me to do manicure, get my hair coloured, do henna tattoo and even got make-up done...too bad camera was out of battery...didn't manage to capture my make-up and henna tattoo. Even little Kellyn enjoyed herself...

Today is Kellyn's 2nd Birthday, we had an early celebration last Sunday. Kellyn was so excited about her birthday as she had waited for this day for a long time. She has always wanted a Dora cake. She was very tensed during the birthday song because she wanted to be the first to blow the candles. Boy, was she fast! Immediately after the song, she blew the candles, even faster than me, Nicole.
