autumn is coming so take care of you're leaves

Year 2

School reopens on 2 September 2008 and I am now in Year 2...new class with new friends. During snack and lunch, I often sit with my ex-classmates from 1K. I still love school...it would have been better if I could be in the same class as some of my old friends. Looking forward to the activities in store for me...such as Mufti Day...wow...I loved last year's Mufti Day.

Ice Skating

I went ice skating for the very first time with some of my classmates...or rather ex-classmates. Apprehensive at first, but soon I got the hang of it...thanks to my sweet and sporting Mummy who skated along and she could ice-skate! She held my hands most of the time and we skated together...but I did go on my own towards the end...holding on to the side of the ice rink. Below is a photo of me and Adelia posing outside the rink...cool, huh?

Kellyn told Mummy to bring her ice skating too...she said she wanted to skate cos that day she was only watching. I think she is a little too young to ice skate but she did enjoy herself that day...she knows the names of all my friends (having attended all my friends' birthday parties together with me) and was happily chatting away with some of them.

Update on Little Ivan

Little Ivan is more than 7 months old now. He has started solids and is eating very well. He is big for his age, wearing clothes for babies above 1 year old. He loves going around in his walker.He loves all things boys.

Kellyn and I took turns to try Joshua's tiger costume...just for fun. Enjoy the photos...

Melaka Trip

During my summer break, we also went for a vacation to Melaka. We stayed at Holiday Inn and the entourage comprised of Mum, Dad, Kellyn, Ivan and myself, Yeye, Nana, Pak Pak, Leong Leong, Joshua and Joseph, Jeng Ku's family and Tai Gong and Tai Po , Tai Gu Po and Len Gu Po. We had the chance to go up Melaka Tower to see the beautiful night scenery of Melaka and we also sat on trishaws. We had a swim at the hotel too. For the rest of them, the highlight of the trip were the great food they got to eat as Pak Pak's friend brought us to some famous restaurants...however, I didn't get to enjoy the food much because of my allergy. Photos are in dad's camera...stay tuned...will get Dad to upload. I told Mum I want to go Melaka again.

Penang Trip

One of the highlights of my summer holidays was the Penang Trip. Oh...we had so much fun at the beach, going for horse rides, playing at Adventure Zone, doing art and craft and even T-shirt painting. We stayed at Shangrila's Golden Sands Resort. I made Mummy promised to bring us back there again. There are a lot of photos...will upload soon.

PlayClub Red Week

During my school holidays, I attended Kellyn's Playclub at Julia Gabriel. And so it was red week, so we wore red. Teachers and Mummies wore red too. Mummy was in red too, just that she didn't do the Karen Cheng, so no photo of herself...hee..hee.. Oh, the food was all in red too...forgot the photos...Mummy says she will do better the next colour week...
